Traitement recommandé
- Determine the volume of water in the filter zone and double the calculated volume to account for the water contained in the gravel and formation, or determine the static volume of water and add an extra 50%.
- Once the water volume has been determined, calculate the AQUA-CLEAR®PFD treatment volume using the following formula:
- AQUA-CLEAR® PFD (gal or L) = 0.002 x Volume of water (gal or L)
This equates to one gallon of AQUA-CLEAR® PFD for every 500 gallons of water (0.2% by volume), or 2.0 liters of AQUA-CLEAR® PFD for every cubic meter of water.
- AQUA-CLEAR® PFD (gal or L) = 0.002 x Volume of water (gal or L)
- Mix well before introducing into the well.
The ideal application method uses a hopper line and the product is applied in the screened area.
If required, AQUA-CLEAR PFD/water solution can be poured into the well.
The mixture should be carefully incorporated into the well, then agitated using a powerful movement and buffer, jet or other developing technique at two-hour intervals over a 24-hour period. Pump the waste until the turbidity clears and connect to the distribution network.
