BORE-GEL ™ is a bag containing a specially formulated drilling fluid system for use in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) applications. BORE-GEL® is a blended product that contains high-yield Wyoming sodium bentonite. When mixed with fresh water, BORE-GEL® develops into an easy-to-pump drilling mud with properties ideally suited to horizontal directional drilling (HDD).

Recommended treatment

Add slowly and evenly in a high-shear jet mixer over one or more cycles of the slurry volume. Stir continuously until all lumps are dispersed.

Packaging

BORE-GEL® is packaged in a 50 lb (22.7 kg) multi-ply paper bag. The bag is sturdy, moisture-resistant and easy to handle, store and transport.
